IRAI takes pride in its contribution towards the development of Indonesia’s infrastructure in its roles of supporting infrastructure access and reform. We are committed in supporting further infrastructure rollout under strengthened sectorial institutions.

The company provides support in forms of research, consultation, project analysis, review, opinion updates, training, and technical or advisory services, to help industry and government agencies to accomplish their missions to the implementation of PPP and infrastructure development. This means, (1) contributing to basic and applied research in the diverse fields of policy, finance, laws, and engineering, (2) providing inputs and result of analysis to the stakeholders, (3)  providing educational and training services to the stakeholders, and (4) offering technical assistance and expertise.

a) Public Private Partnership (PPP) Framework. IRAI is currently involved in a nationwide PPP Infrastructure project as a consultant and advisor. We provide input into the formulation of financing structure and mititgating the project risk by addressing key elements from financial aspects that should be included in the Presidential Decree.

It suggests a program of reform that will allow the government and people of Indonesia, to achieve themselves the goal of making infrastructure a bridge to domestic and global markets and a platform for development. We understand that partnership is important in a PPP scheme, therefore we also ensure that the private sector and the government are working in cooperation to deliver infrastructure for the best interest of the public.

b) Transportation. Transportation infrastructure projects can be complex, often involving participants from both the public and private sectors having different perspectives and approaches to projects. Despite the complexity of infrastructure projects, we have been able to successfully assist our clients in reconciling these differences in completing transactions.

IRAI maintains an active national transportation and infrastructure practice that brings together the firm’s broad experience in executive government, regulatory and appropriations issues, environmental matters, as well as national and local government counseling.

This practice will help equity investors, lenders, governments, state-owned companies, developers, and project sponsors succeed in financing transactions. Our service will also include railway sector reforms and project preparation for large-scale financings throughout the globe.
